AI literacy for teams, on Udemy Business.
The course lives on Udemy. If your organisation already uses Udemy Business, assigning it is an admin task, not a vendor project. If you do not, the course page is still the right next step.
Step 1
Confirm how you will assign it
If you already have Udemy Business, an admin or group admin can assign courses today. If you do not, open the course page: that is where Udemy presents team options. Use AI Securely does not sell seats and does not run a procurement process.
Step 2
Find the exact course
Search for "AI Literacy Essentials: Working Responsibly with AI" by Tristan Roth. The consumer URL is the Udemy course page linked from every button on this site. On Udemy Business, use the same title in search.
Step 3
Assign, with a due date
Assign to a group, to named users, or to all users. Set a due date so it actually happens. A two-week window is enough: the course is about 45 minutes. You can add an auto-assign rule so new joiners in that group receive it.
Step 4
Track completion where you already track learning
Use Udemy Business course insights for assignment, progress, and completion. Keep your own note of who was in scope and why this course was an appropriate baseline, next to tool-specific rules. That roster is yours; this site never sees it.
Template note to your team
Subject: AI literacy training, about 45 minutes, by [date]
Hi all,
We are assigning a short AI literacy course to everyone who uses AI tools at work. It is about 45 minutes, on Udemy, taught by Tristan Roth.
Course: AI Literacy Essentials: Working Responsibly with AI. Please complete it by [date]. If you already have a Udemy Business account, open the assignment from there. If you need access, reply to this note.
Thanks.
The honest fine print
This course is a general AI literacy baseline. It does not by itself make your organisation compliant with Article 4 or anything else. You stay responsible for measures appropriate to your staff, AI systems, and context, including which tools are approved and which data may go into them. See the Article 4 explainer.
Use AI Securely does not issue a certificate, keep a learner roster, or contract as a training body. Completion tracking, and any certificate Udemy Business issues, comes from Udemy.
Questions from admins
We already pay for Udemy Business. What do we do?+
Ask an admin or group admin to search the exact title, assign the course to the relevant group (or all users), and set a due date. You can add an auto-assign rule so new joiners in that group receive it. Completion then lives in Udemy Business insights, which is the roster you already use for other assigned learning.
We do not have Udemy Business.+
Start on the course page. Udemy presents individual enrolment and, where available, team or Business options. This website does not broker a Udemy contract and does not take a sales call.
Can we preview it before assigning it?+
Yes. Several lectures are previewable on the Udemy page, and the full course takes about 45 minutes. L&D and compliance owners usually take it themselves first.
Will this replace our AI policy?+
No. The course is a shared baseline. You still decide which tools are approved, which data may go into them, and which roles need extra depth. Keep those rules somewhere staff can actually find them.
Next step
Send your L&D admin the Udemy page.
That is the whole conversion. Search the title, assign the group, pick a Friday.
