Next steps and the knowledge check

You have the baseline. Here is how to make it count beyond your own keyboard.

In your organisation

• Find the AI policy, read it, and note which tools are approved for which data. If no policy exists, say so to whoever owns IT or compliance; naming the gap is itself a contribution.
• Report honestly. If work data has already gone into unapproved tools, mention it to the responsible person, the way you would any security concern.
• Share the course. AI literacy is a team property: your careful habits protect little if the person next to you pastes the client database. Anyone can take this course free, at this address.
• Keep your record. Your completion record is evidence of one concrete literacy measure. Organisations rolling this out should keep their own roster of who completed it, alongside their tool-specific and role-specific measures.

Staying current

AI tools change monthly; the fundamentals in this course change slowly. Pattern-based systems that hallucinate, leak-prone prompts, bias from historical data, humans owning decisions: these will still be the story years from now. When you evaluate a new AI tool, you now know the questions: where does my data go, is it retained or trained on, what does it get wrong, and who is accountable for the output?

The knowledge check

The final quiz has 12 questions drawn from all six chapters. You need 75% to pass, you can retake it, and it is open-book: checking a lesson before answering is using the course as intended. When you pass, enter your name to download your completion record, a PDF with a verification code anyone can validate on this site.
